Just reading this now in the comments under Dokes Vs Coetzee on YouTube ( Dustbin Daniel brought me there via Kevin Lerena) His fight with Dokes was a great one, both men showed speed and class.

There was no recognized WBA/WBC White heavyweight from Coetzee all the way to Vitali , about 2 decades, and Coetzee was the only White champ since Swede Johanson. That's 4+ decades in all. Not the nicest of records to own but he owned it :Jest:

Gerrie Coetzee Etched a PERMANENT Place in REED's Boxing Heart for KO'ing Leon Spinks in the 1st Round...

Spinks DARED to Beat Muhammad Ali, So Even Though Ali Won the RE, REED Hated Leon Anyways...Watching Coetzee BOUNCE Spinks Off the Canvas Like a Ball Literally Brought PLEASURE to REED...He Felt BETTER After Watching That Fight...Coetzee-Spinks Took Place a Day PRIOR to REED's 8th Birthday, as Well:Jest:...

GOD Blessed REED w/a Boxing Gift That Year, to Say the Least...REED's Ol' Man Found it Humorous as Well; He Pronounced "Coetzee" Co-EAT-Zee...

I've been informed Fightbeat corporate wants you to give a eulogy and tell this very story at the funeral.

Punk will be touch with your flight departure time.
