@ Featherweight. How does Sanchez deal with the same guy that gave Pedroza, Gómez, and Chavez tough fights? Does Lockridge’s aggressive style play right into Sanchez’s favor or could he also give a good account of himself and hold his own against Sanchez?
Lockridge never fought somebody so absolutely perfect to beat him. Stylistically, everything about him is perfect for Sanchez, on top of the fact that Sal was a much better fighter.
Defense Wasn't a Rocky Lockridge Strong Suit, Necessarily...Salvador Sanchez Was Enough of a Sharp Shooter Where REED Could Envision a VERY Late Stoppage... Sanchez Didn't Have the Single Shot Power of a Juan LaPorte, the ONLY Man to Stop Lockridge, But Over the Course of 15, Sanchez Gets Rocky OUT Of There, in REED's Opinion...Lockridge Lasts the Distance in a 12 Rounder, However... REED
Lockridge simply gets hit too much and while he was giving tough fights to Gomez and Pedroza, I don’t think his style translates into success against such an accurate sharp shooter like Sanchez. Sal takes him late.
