Apparently Spence-Crawford talks are back on. A tentative date of June 17.

I'll fucking believe it when I see it. Not holding my breath anymore.

It would be a dream if we had Taylor-Lopez then Spence-Crawford the following week. It would be boxing fan heaven.

But I'll believe it when I see it.

Its easy to forget the current age boxer exists. They fight once every 17 years.

I know he had the accident and all that. Still....he could and should be fighting no hopers every 4 months.

Not putting my hopes up for this until we actually see both of them in the ring. The hype for this has already died down.

I think both guys have lost that fire. The hunger to fight seems gone. Surely they’ll make it this year to finally cash out.

Oh and it looks Vergil Ortiz rhabdo is acting up again. If he’s putting his body through that type of abuse, I’m not sure why he doesn’t move up to 154.

    This shit again....

I doubt it happens in the summer. In the next 6 months boxing will hopefully get a cardioversion get the heart of boxing pumping again w/ Ryan vs Tank, Loma vs Haney, Teo vs Taylor, potential Canelo vs Benevidez in September the best Spence/Crawford teams can do is set up the fight for early November. Fans and casual would want a final good fight to end a great boxing year.

Considering their talent level and their age, both guys are on track to have a pretty underwhelming career.

Both are gonna make the HOF though. If they put Bradley in, they damn sure are gonna let Spence and Crawford in.

Bradley is far more deserving and has 2 HoF close to their prime on his resume (yeah the Pac fight was a terrible robbery but it's still a W). Crawford and Spence best win between themselves is who?? Kell Brock???

Bradley never beat a fighter as good as prime Brook. No, I do not count Pac. That was the second worst robbery of the 2010s. The only robbery that was worse in the decade was Lara-Tall Paul.

Prime Kell Brook would kick Bradley's ass in all honesty.

The old fat JMM that Bradley out-boxed was better than a weight-drained Kell Brook by default, considering that same fat JMM khtfko Pac

Agreed, maybe it's me who's underrating him but I never got the Kell Brook hype to be honest. I don't see him as much better than a Junior Witter ‍

You overrate Brook - always have. Held his way to a decision win over Porter and that's it. It is all there is. Guy never beat anyone.

    Exactly

What the fuck kell brook ever did besides winning a contentious decision over porter? Jmm was a much better win, and much clearer also

Honestly, thats one of the worst call ive seen recently. Bradley is much more deserving of the hall than these two divas

The versions of Kell Brook Spence and especially Crawford beat were pretty abysmal though. Even without the Pacquiao 'win'; Bradley should easily be in over Spence & Crawford.

That's because that's what he was. Brook has one good win in a resume listed with dreck. He should have had an L to Carson fucking Jones. Spence absolutely undressed him - it was one of the most brutal breakdowns you will ever see.

    Protected, overhyped dreck

If Brook is overrated, what does that make your hero? He outclassed Porter, and made it look relatively easy.

Oh yes, the myth that brook won easily against porter shows its head again. Youd make a great trump publicist

    In fairness it's a small hyper 140lb guy against a fringe-elite 147lbr.

    It shouldn't be close.

Thing is Brooks 10 rounds vs pre-accident Spence, after Golovkin broke Brooks face, is enough on its own for Brook to have an argument that he splatters Timmy who nearly died in there vs Provodnikov who never won a big fight and lost to fucking Algieri!

Who cares about this fantasy. Brooks could well have been better than SRR, but at the end of the day, he barely did anything as a fighter. Tommy, for all of his mediocrity, has a hell of a resume

Supposedly it’s all but official, and they’re gonna announce it during the Tank-Ryan card.

I’ll have to see it to believe it.
