ATG MW and ATG LHW, but who would you say was the greater, more accomplished, and better skill wise? Solid fundamentals, high ring IQ, great jabs, power in both hands with accuracy, and an awkward yet effective style. Both were complete fighters and close to unbeatable in their respective weight class. Monzon had a longer reign at MW and stayed unbeaten before he retired while Spinks dominated LHW and moved up to defeat Holmes twice before losing to Tyson in his only loss.

I would copy and paste what I said on Eastside, but I'll just condense it.

I got Monzon as slightly greater.

Spinks I would consider slightly better.

Both are easily among the top 10 greatest fighters of the last half century.

I know Homes in my mind was old and fat when Stinks beat him, but i can't imagine a fat Carl Monzon going up 15 lbs to out-box Foster. So I think Stinks is greater

Spinks takes it for both in my book. Probably the most underrated fighter of all time.
