Teddy Reid was a piece of shit. One of the most enjoyable fights I've ever watched live was Ben Tackie beating him half to death. Wish the ref had let Tackie go all the way.

It used to be primarily older prudish conservative religious types who would be up in arms about things being "offensive". Now it's mainly young people which does my head in. I can't imagine anyone i know when i was younger being on the lookout for things to be outraged by. Get a fucken life.

 

Back in the late 80s, it was some older housewife connected with the Romneys who tried to get ‘Married With Children’ taken off the air because she found it so offensive. But all she did was end up making the show more popular.

Imagine the young, easily offended people of today watching that show.

 

Yeah hard to imagine it even getting a green light for a pilot episode. The thing is you could actually do a show like that today, all it takes is some balls. The network and the actors would simply just not have to cave in to the early pressure and let the outrage mob move onto other targets. They will when you don't back down. They're not much different than bullies in that regard.
