With all these awesome fights finally happening, I hate to say it, but the best we can hope for is that the promoters/networks come out ahead, reinforcing that not only do fans win when big fights are made, but that business wins too
"His brother wants to be a gangster but got beat up by Crawford and did a horrible job in the movie Creed." I fuck with Morrell. Cmonnn David, stop runnin!
Benavidez is only hurting himself, because the time to take on Morrell is NOW. Maybe Bena has too much experience for him now. Morrell will fuck his ass up if they wait another year.
What Morrell is Attempting to Do to Benavidez (Shame Him PUBLICLY) is What Benavidez SHOULD Have Been Doing to Canelo the Last 2 Years...Sometimes You Have to SPEAK Fights Into Existence... That Said, Jaime Munguia Made the Mistake of Moving Up to '68 and Calling Out Benavidez After SKATING By Derevyanchenko Last Week...Benavidez Said Munguia is the TARGET Next Opponent w/Morrell Option # 2...Either Way, REED Doesn't See Benavidez Campaigning @ '68 Beyond This Year-Early 2024 @ the LATEST... If Benavidez-Munguia Is Indeed Signed, Hopefully They Fight On "Diez y Seis".... REED
It'd Be an ENTERTAININGLY 1-Sided Fight...Never a Doubt Who WINS, Yet Some FUN 2-Way Punching Exchanges Along the Way... REED
Yep, But Morrell is YOUNG Enough to Address It, To Build His Cache to Where He's WORTH the While @ Some Point... Also, Like Benavidez, Morrell is BIG for the Weight Class...These Dudes are Definitely On a Collision Course, It's Just a Matter of WHAT Weight They Eventually Meet @, '68 in the Immediate Future or '75 In the Next Year or So???... But Make No Mistake, Benavidez-Morrell IS On the Horizon... REED
I don't recall a time in the past when we had the old Lion (Canelo) ducking the prime Lion (Benavidez), while simultaneously the prime Lion is ducking the up and coming Lion (Morrell).
Honestly, the fight doesn't make sense for Benavidez. He deserves more at this point. And it really doesn't make sense for Morrell, unless he were to win.
Robert Guerrero vs. Andre Berto II on the David Morrell/Showtime Finale Undercard... Don't Quite Know if This is an Ol' Timer's EXHIBITION or a REAL Fight... REED
While Berto's Never Looked GOOD, Per Se, He's Never Looked WORSE Either...Soft Bodied, Legs Looking STIFF and SHOT...Can't PULL the Trigger When Openings Present Themselves... REED
I think when Double L talks about flashy cutesy fighters...he's talking of guys like Colbert. He could make life easier for himself if he kept his hands up....and stop trying to play the Mayweather, Judah role...your not at that level fucker. When you keep your left down to your waist, and miss w/ the check hook 8 out of 10 times your NOT FLOYD...
