Bailey could punch very well so I guess that there is a chance that this fight could resemble his fight with Carlos Gonzalez; coming up from Mexico, Gonzalez was touted as the next Cuevas.
My best friend trained/cornered Gonzalez for at least a few fights and we both agree that he fell just a wee bit short of being the next Cuevas and I don't think that either of us would bet on the chance of Bailey knocking out the real Cuevas.

cuevas was only a one x champ. Bolillo Gonzalez was a two x champ, and Bailey was a THREE x champ.

Carlos Gonzalez was a very heavy handed puncher. What he lacked was the handspeed and ferocity that Cuevas had. Cuevas was much quicker of hand and foot, and more aggressive (and obviously bigger and stronger).

Gonzalez was more of a methodical, break you down type.
