Shane and Oscar are both dumb human beings, and they weren't particularly intelligent as fighters either. They were both great fighters mainly because they were exceptionally talented, and both had toughness behind their pretty boy looks. But cerebral fighters they were not.
You only needed one look at them when they were together to know what the dynamic was and that Shane was going to be paying alimony and child support in the near future. Dating the stripper/model afterward was cringe, he just wasn't that guy. As much as he was a vicious fighter, he just came across as a cuckold type of guy. What guys girl will shout that he is being made to look like a pussy? I mean your girl should not do it in the first place but also should probably actually be scared of the repercussions she would have to deal with for emasculating you like that in public.
Mike is similar to Shane - he too is a cuck in relationships, despite being vicious in the ring. Robin Givens wore the pants in their relationship, his doctor wife wore the pants in their relationship, and his current wife wears the pants in their relationship. Mike just lucked out because it appears that his current wife has his best interests in mind, but its pretty apparent that she's the boss in the marriage. Compare Tyson and Mosley to a guy like Leonard.... Leonard comes off like a guy who demands to be the alpha in a relationship. I remember Mike saying recently in an episode of his podcast, "Ray's a mean guy. He's scary." He said it out of love, cause he's friends with Leonard, but he obviously knows his personality.
Facts. Both guys always got by on their physical gifts moreso than ring IQ. But at least outside the ring I can say Mosley has always appeared to be a genuinely good dude, whereas Oscar was always an asshole and a phony.
