    What is next for Crawford?
Personally,..I see Bud moving up to challenge Jermell Charlo.
If he does,..nobody at 147 touches Boots.

    Thoughts?

We don't know what Canelo will do to Jermell yet. What if he gives Jermell a career-ending beating? Then no one will wanna see that fight. Too many questions as of now.

We also gotta see if EJ will actually activate the rematch, or if he'll come to his senses and move on.

I know what I WANT TO SEE... Crawford-Ennis. I don't think we'll get it though. Boots is too high risk/low reward.

    I agree.
    The risk is too big.
But who would you take if Crawford and Ennis go at it in the next 6-12 months based on both fighter’s last performances?

You would have to make Bud the favorite, but Ennis is too talented to count out. Unlike Spence, Ennis has the handspeed to punch with Bud.

Personally,..I think Boots is the most gifted fighter I’ve seen since Roy Jones

The only reason I don’t emphatically think Ennis would win,..is his tendency to leave himself open at times.
But he has a great chin

I wouldn't go that far, about the Roy part. And to be fair, we have no idea if Boots has a great chin yet. It appears to be solid, but we don't know how he'd react when Bud nails him with the speed, power, and precision he has. That's why Crawford would be favored.

Look,..Bud is a sharp puncher for sure.
But he’s also , probably a natural Jr. Welterweight.
Boots is a HUGE Welterweight who took bombs repeatedly from Villa who is a great puncher

Villa is a great puncher? No proof of that. Just don't jump the gun. I love the kid, but who knows how he'll react when Bud nails him.

I’d take the Bud that fought 4 nights ago for sure.
Ennis is a cross between Hearns and Jones

Are you sure that Hearns and Jones could handle Boots?

If Spence Exercises the RE Clause, Spence @ '54...

By Then, Canelo-Charlo Will Have Happened...Highly Doubtful Charlo Beats Even a FADING Canelo, Obviously...Spence Routinely Gets the BETTER of Charlo in Sparring & He Was Ringside Literally POUTING During Spence-Crawford, So Charlo Already KNOWS He Can't Fuck w/Bud Either...

But On the Heels of the Canelo Payday, Charlo Will Likely Cash-Out vs. Bud...Charlo MIGHT Take a Tim Tszyu Bout 1st, But He'll Eventually Cash Out vs. Bud...Bud is Now Officially a MONEY Fight and Charlo Would Be RIDICULED If He Didn't Step Up to the Plate...

Admittedly, REED Liked Boots' Chances a LOT More Prior to Last Saturday Night...

Slightly Favored Bud Then, But Now REED Comfortably Picks Bud to Beat Boots Anytime in the Next 6-12 Months...

It definitely benefits Crawford to face him sooner than later

So it’s certain Charlo will face Canelo? I saw some reports about it being set for September 30th, which is the same date that Charlo was supposed to have faced Tszyu by.

Assuming Canelo-Charlo goes ahead, there’s a chance he gets stripped of some of his undisputed title. Plus, if he loses to Canelo, he may not even carry on afterwards. Too many intangibles for a Crawford-Charlo fight to go ahead.

Got to say, though, this is the first time in a long, long time that I’ve been excited by the current boxing scene.

Alvarez charlo is a done deal

If charlo shows decently even in defeat I could see him dropping down to face Crawford for 4 belts, certainly isn't ideal for him off a loss but he's set for generations off those 2 paydays

Funny how he's gearing up for a title shot 2 divisions up from him but is dumb-founded at the idea of Crawford getting a title shot at 154 after clearly proving himself the best at 147.

You’re a smartass that thinks he knows everything.
    And you don’t.
I was just meaning that from a skill standpoint,..Ennis is tall, long and powerful…like Hearns.
And he has unreal speed,..like Jones and Hearns.
Why ya gotta be a dick?

And now that Davis is ridiculously calling him out at a catchweighr?
    Go for that one, Bud
