As Whyte got busted for roids, Helenius steps in as a six-day replacement.

Since getting iced in a round by Wilder last October, Helenius hasn't done any boxing training but instead has been lifting weights.

Two days ago, he fought a Finnish bouncer who is 41 and had trained boxing for two years. The same morning he got a call from Hearn.

From 0 to 10, what is your excitement level for this main event and who do you pick?

I haven't been excited for a heavyweight fight in many, many years.

Yes, I already canceled all of my plans. I can't miss history. This win should put AJ up there with Robinson, Messi, and Jordan... a sporting GOAT.

Maybe he can pull a Bert Cooper and nearly stop him like when he was a one-week replacement for Damiani against prime Holyfield

Same. Seems like it was being anticipated in the UK, but I didn't give a flying rat's fuck about it. I'm far more hype for Valdez-Navarrette than watching those two fucking bums AJ and Whyte.

Well, it should be a mismatch, but helenius at least has the size and power to potentially make it interesting (hell get destroyed anyway)

Agreed. Helenius has some power and also techniques when he doesn't attack, all his good results are against plodding aggressors. That added to the fact how scared and insecure Joshua looks these days, he has a tiny chance (as in about 5%)

This viking took the fight on 2 hours notice and hasn't even been training in boxing. Lost in 1 round to a novice last time out. This is what you're pitching to the dazn subscribers, Hearn?

I'll watch. Not because I'm excited for it, but because I'm a DAZN sub and it'd be a waste of money not use the shit.

Lmao yea basically. But at the end of the day, I am a boxing junkie, and if there's nothing else on that night, I might as well tune in.

Note: I remembered while typing this, this fight on the 19th? I have plans that day, and since this is on UK time, no guarantee I'll be around to watch the main event live. So I might miss it after all. lol

Only way I'll watch the replay is if AJ loses.

Didn't have any interest in the Whyte rematch, no chance I'm watching this.

"If Aj loses" same for me but not because I hate AJ or want some big white lump to win,but rather because the anguish of the TV morons like Froch or Bellew, especially Bellew, will be too tasty to turn down.

Whyte has the Chisorah quality. You know he'll probably lose, spectacularly, having seen to it that the arena security guards got enough overtime to make a down payment on a condo :Jest: .....and that they earned every damn penny.

Helenius is the kind of guy that looks far better than he really is. Good punch selection and power, fairly mobile and of course, his size. But there's something missing against good opponents and that's not taking into account his soft chin.

Joshua is liable into turning into a new Golota. His head/mind is not wired for boxing anymore it seems. He got completely freaked out by Helenius during the stare down. Forget the strange breakdown AFTER the Usyk fight. He is breaking down now BEFORE the fight.
