    I saw that flick one time in the 90s. I don't remember it too well. Now that you brought it up, I might actually watch it next week. I know it's a classic, and I've seen most classics multiple times, but that one.

    Commando is by far my favorite 80s action flick.

    American Reunion ripped off a line from Rocky 5 (both at the endings.) When that Don King wannabe said something like, "Touch me and I'll sue!" And Rocky fucks him up anyway and says something about him being broke so what will you sue for.

    I'm 30 minutes into Big Trouble in Little China. Ehhh, I'm not seeing the appeal so far. Its boring me to death. I hope it gets better. As it stands right now, it certainly lacks the charisma of a "bad" 80s action flick like Commando or The Last Dragon.

    If I wanna Kurt Russell in a good 80s movie, I'll just rewatch The Thing.

    Commando, The Last Dragon and Rocky 4 all came out in 85’. 3 of my favorite and most rewatched movies. All silly but very entertaining.

    I think Rocky 3 is better than 4 though. Clubber Lang was a more fun villain. 4 has the best training montage.

    The flashback with Mickey was a compelling scene. It was also completely ripped from Cus and teenage Tyson in the Catskills.

    Yeah, 3 is definitely better than 4. Three is the overall the most rewatchable movie in the franchise, even if 1 is the best movie from a quality standpoint.

    That Hulk hogan scene is amazingly shot. Most vicious they made hogan look.

    I’n not sure why Stallone took this out. I guess it was too sad? Too sentimental?

    This is more moving emotionally and adds more to his motivation to fight Drago.

    Side note. That bullshit that rocky didnt throw in the towel and that is why Apollo died is BS. The ref tried to stop the fight and Drago pushed him away. Nothing was stopping him. Maybe if Paulie came in with a chair

    Another side note. That hulk hogan scene in part 3 was shot amazingly. Hogan never appeared so menacing. Even the leg drop with the Bruce Lee sound effect was perfect.

    Would Drago have faced murder/manslaughter charges? He assaults the ref who’s trying to stop the fight and proceeds to pummel Apollo for another 10 seconds, and Apollo dies.

    I actually think this movie may have created a lot of the misconception about how throwing the towel in the ring stops the fight. I know I thought that when I was young.

    In a real life scenario, I'm not entirely sure what would have happened to Lang, but Drago 100% would have done prison time for manslaughter.

    That’s my point really. He typecasted himself. But had he explored it and took it seriously, I could see doing more. Just by some of suttle softer spoken scenes on rocky.
