Teofimo Lopez has called out Terence Crawford: “I did call out Crawford. At 147lbs. I'm not here to play games, I wanna fight the best. The fighters Crawford fought were handicapped. Spence just announced about his eye, Jose Benavidez had a shot leg, Kell Brook was injured too with his eye. Every fighter Crawford has faced at 147lbs has been injured. I'm healthy. Ive said for a while now its the fight that makes the most sense for both.

 

Teo is wasting TIME....he wasted the Loma victory.....now he's wasting the Taylor victory.

STFU about Crawford...you know you ain't fighting him...

Teo got RY, Haney, Shakur, Tank, Matias, Rolly....but you want to call out someone you can't beat and ain't fighting...

 

Why wouldn't he fight Crawford?

He moved up and fought taylor. He fought lomachenko. Both the clear cut #1 guy in those divisions

It's also the best paying fight for him.

The guys you mentioned aint fighting Lopez. Davis, romero nor garcia damn sure aint

Crawford should take it. More money than fighting Ennis. Less threat than fighting Ennis.

 

Lopez may not last as long as spence but he'll be more competitive

If Lopez looks impressive vs ortiz (and moreso Mattias after that) he'll be a live dog that can sell the fight

Romero is facing garcia

 

I could see Crawford taking that one since it seems there’s nothing interesting going on around him. Personally, I’d rather see him fight the likes of Boots, Ortiz, or Tszyu. But those fights won’t bring in big bucks and are risky for him to take, especially now that he’s 36 and isn’t super active.

 

Teofimo is a better fighter than Vergil. I'd rather see Crawford vs Teo than Crawford beat up ponderous ass Vergil.

 

I think that remains to be seen as Vergil hasn't really fought anyone.

 

If there is a hint of that fight being worked on...…u, me, every1 knows Teo is going to start talking that “I’m A side" shit...or "50/50 split"....the fight isn't happening...

Agreed. Would all of us watch it? Obviously, but that aint the point. Lopez has and does have a lot of options but could have done a hell of a lot more. Now calling out guy in a weight class he hasn't fought at? Shut up and take care of your own business.

As for the fight itself I don't think he beats Spence let alone Crawford.

 

No fighter who loses to Kambozo is beating Crawford

 

Crawford would have to be on the downside in decline for Teo to have a chance.

 

He might have to get Aids too.
