Fury vs Usyk predictions

I shall pray to Usyk at the altar every night. We're never going to hear that Fury is the GOAT Heavyweight ever again.

 

For me.....if Fury avoids that disastrous 9th, he wins. ......Johnny Nelson is right. Fury went off the boil because that's what he does.

 

The thing with Usyk is he's well prepared to go every single round. He will win some, and lose some but you can't just get into a groove and start sailing if you're ahead.

 

You gotta credit Usyk for that punch, he was looking to land that since round one.

 

Yep, was a great fight. No arguments with the decision.

I do think there are adjustments Fury can make in the rematch.

 

Let's face it.... everybody wants to see the rematch.

Which is precisely what happened. Furry thought he had the fight won at halfway and started coasting. Paid for it, big time.

It was frustrating at times. Fury was in control and should have put his foot on the pedal. Usyk only had success when Fury gave him opportunities on the ropes. Usyk was also wide open for a right hand when Fury pivoted off, but he never threw it.

 

Fury is pissed that he lost that fight.

 

Fury could have finished it in the 6th. He was doing whatever he wanted in there. There is something off mentally with Fury. Either way I stand corrected this turned out to be a great fight.

 

Nothing was "wrong" with Fury, Usyk just had contrasting ideas.

 

Usyk was able to take advantage of Furys idiosyncrasy like others hadn't.

 

He should be.

 

Anyways I think this fight might be the best example of pre fight derision being unwarranted.

 

Furry got his ass beat. Ridiculous judging and officiating they saved him a stoppage loss

 

Now ask yourself why it took 9 rounds......because 8 rounds is precisely how long it took Fury to do what Fury does, namely fuck about en route to finding out.

 

There was, as the 10th 11th and 12th rounds proved, every justification to let the fight continue.

How'd I do? I haven't seen the fight, but Fury usually does something dirty like that elbow at Ngannou.

 

More or less clean sweep.....Fury fought cleanly and never tried any funny shit. He probably earned most of what he got.

 

The Brits here are fuckin high. ‘I stopped scoring after round 6’. No shit, Usyk won 4 or 5 of the 6 remaining rounds + a KD. He literally could have been scored 10 or 11 of the 12 rounds if you wanted to apply bias to clean punching. He beat the SHIT out of Fury.

 

I wanna see Usyk vs Wilder…
