Usyk would have always been all wrong for peak Wilder. A southpaw who would keep him turning and unable time his right hand, with a great chin and a huge cardio advantage.

Usyk vs the current shot version of Wilder would be cruel.

I've been on that particular horse for a long time. Joe would have beaten the shit out of him, and all the other HW 'elites' of this era.

Yeah, I thought that when going through the 80s list in the OP. It stood out as one I'd loved to have seen and one Usyk has a genuine chance of winning.
