Thoughts on Kazuto Ioka?

franco probably shouldnt be at that division but perhaps being in japan and travel affected his preparation. still worth it to stick around and hope the fight goes thru for the payday even though they mustve known weeks ago the weight wasnt feasible. abd if his purse is cut in half its better than getting zero and having to payback training expenses. obviously ioka feels the same way as he's going thru with the fight.

Looks like he schooled Joshua Franco in the rematch. If there’s one thing I notice about Ioka he seems to improve in rematches. Glad he made the necessary corrections from the first fight to ensure a win.

Would like to see Ioka face Gallo, Choco, Martinez, or Nakatani next.

 

I've been watching a lot fights of his Uncle.

Yeah, definitely. Dethroned Myung Woo Yuh in a good fight. Can't remember who I thought won, though.

 

He was a very good technician. His weakness was that he had a dodgy chin.

This should be a good one. Ioka might be in for a long night against Martinez.
