Unfortunate news. Salido must have been drunk driving or something. Supreme Boxing on Instagram: "‼️ Former world champion Orlando “Siri” Salido has been hospitalized and under police custody after crashing his truck into a home. Salido’s has suffered serious injuries, and 3 people were hurt . One person died hours later. #DontDrinkAndDrive #Boxing #SupremeBoxing"
Salido will likely get around 5 years for vehicular manslaughter. It wasn't premeditated murder, and judges tend to show some leniency towards drunk drivers for some reason. Probably.
5 years ain't no overnight. I didn't say he was going away for life. I mean he ain't coming home soon.
Has anybody else noticed that there seems to be a link between boxing and foolish decision making along with calamitous behavior? Someone needs to do an investigation into this.
