As a Boots fan I'll have to admit, he should just move up to 154 after this fight. That's where all the action is. Bud, Madrimov, Tszyu, Ortiz, Spence, Fundora, Conwell, its hot right now!

There's nothing at 147 anymore. It was the hottest division a few years ago, but it's dead at the moment. There would be nothing for Boots except for Ryan, and 1. Ryan would never ever fight him, and 2. Who the fuck will even trust fighting Ryan?

Time to move up after Crowley. He'd be wasting his career staying at welter.

Crowley is not a bad fighter. But I agree Boots needs better.

Eh it’s a decent stay busy fight for Ennis to look good. Better to keep him active in the meantime.

Well thats what I mean. I have to believe that they could have found a better dancing partner for "the boogey mam" than Crowley. Im getting Andrade vibes.

As a boxing fan I'm not mad at boots for getting paid. Shit they put their lives on the line for our entertainment. Having said that my problem is not with boxers its those people who give them bad advice and have them believing fighting a bum once every 18 months is good for their careers. Shit Chavez used to fight 8x a year back in the day.

He probably saved his career by going to Eddie. Between Matchroom and his Excellency, they'll throw enough money at a top guy to get in the ring with Boots.

His career would have gone nowhere staying with Al.

PBC is too focused on keeping Tank undefeated. They weren’t interested in promoting Boots.

He was never under any contract with haymon

I'm sure he'd have loved to lure ennis into a 4 or 5 fight deal with some of their name opponent welterweights, but none of them pussies would sign up for that beat down

Apparently the Pennsylvania boxing commission realized canadia crowley musta been stone cold blind to talk shit like he had a chance to beat ennis and declared his eye sight wasn't up to par for him to fight

Crowley didn’t want it. Boots really needs to move up in weight. He’s hurting his own career by staying at 147

Fundora would fight him, not saying he would win. Charlo would also step up...he fought Canelo, so there's no way he's scared of Boots. Give me a break.

Alvarez payday was five times whatever charlo made in any other fight. He'd get 1/10 of that for ennis. He also hasn't fought since then and will never make 154lbs again. And is a haymon guy

Fundora, another pbc guy, even if he beat spence and wanted ennis i doubt haymon would allow it

Did anyone else have to check if there were closed captions or a translator option for this? I need a hip-hop-to-regular-English dictionary for all that jive.

Otherwise, a clear Ennis round. I suspect the Armenian will find a way out once the punishment begins to mount.
