Plays darts too. Talks a hard game. Sinks more pints and hard blacks than a German submarine. I like it. He could have the Stuart Pierce role, sat in the corner, glaring and scowling, making sure people stayed on message lol

I think Toney and Watkins will make a lot of noise next season.

Am really surprised Arsenal haven't snapped Toney up yet. It is so glaringly obvious he is the missing piece of that jigsaw.

Na he's still a quality keeper. Plus goalkeepers tend to have a longer shelf life in general anyway.

My Irish relations all have it in for England. Anybody but England to win, whatever tournament it is that they're in. They'll even go as far as to wearing a Jersey of that country playing England. There's a deep rooted hate towards the English. Does it stem from school or what their parents are telling them? I know there's a natural rivalry but sometimes I think come on...what's with all the negativity and hatred. They'll then soon go back and support their English teams in the Premier League lol.

My dad is like that. For such a generally chill guy its pretty irrational, visceral. Coming of age under thatcher interacted with the standard Irish Catholic genetic risk factors, I guess. He insists its because he had to work with so many english and they were all cunts. 50 million of them, all cunts. So he's just reacting perfectly normally to that haha

There was a guy in some greater glasgow-ish housing estate went viral on twitter. He had a big flag pole in his garden- huge serbia flag, then danish, then slovenian, then Slovakian, dutch. Must've spent a few quid

His dad was also on the US (FOX) Euro coverage. Sitting next to your boy Daniel Sturridge who did a pretty good job.

The #1 commentator team was Ian Darke with Landon Donovan. I thought they did a good job. Donovan seemed a little biased toward England in the final. Mark Clattenherg explained to him why Carvajal's foul wasn't card worthy and Kane's was.

Kane was booked because he verballed the referee and did a foul afterwards.

Clattenberg explained it as a "Stupid foul vs a dangerous foul." And that studs to the ankle is the difference.

Daniel Sturridge is awful on the box but he's hip, young and down with the kids, so he'll stay.

You should see Micah Richards. He's on the US (CBS) studio team for Champions League & Europa League coverage. Whenever Man City are playing he's jumping up and down and running laps around the studio while the others laugh at him. It was kind of funny at first. After a couple of years of seeing that it's about as funny as terminal cancer and if anything he's getting worse.

Looks like Toney will be a Brentford player come the start of the season. I don't think there's been any offers for him. But Brentford are known for selling their best assets over the years. He'll leave but it could be a bit of a bumpy ride until a deal is eventually done and dusted. Watkins should kick on from last season.

He can be really loud and that laugh of his can boil your blood a little, but I actually quite like Richards. His bromance with Roy Keane is funny.

Keane has unintentional comedy value but i don't particularly like any of the current lot otherwise. Ian wright will be a miss, by far the most likable ot them. Shearer is pure torture with his narrowed eyes and his trite self serious shite

Keanes perennially "not impressed" routine is grating. Shearer? A horrible man. Horrible, manufactured fake cunt. Wright is by far the most sincere of them.

Karen Carney and Alex Smith can fuck right off and when they get to wherever they've fucked off to, fuck right off some more.

I think a lot of it is down to pure ignorance why so many Irish hate the English. They don't really have any particular answer for it. I've heard people say it's because the English are arrogant and think they're better than everyone else lol

Well, there is a wee bit of history there, toolol

I guess alot of the resentment is passed down like an airloom then people just give it their own rationalisation. 'All the people i worked with were pricks' or 'arrogant media' or the likes

Just about all of these people mentioned also work US coverage.

I liked Karen Carney as a player but her commentating is brutal. She's anti-Everton for some reason which is strange since she's from Birmingham.
