No. Lol. But honestly i've watched this guy fight twice....once winning a muay thai belt and once a kick-boxing belt and both times it was a blast. Watched him on prime video.

ONE Championship is the fighting sport to watch now aside from boxing. Lost interest in UFC awhile ago.

 

ONE is cool, watched a few matches. Love the muay thai stuff. I saw they held Lethwei matches too. That's the dumbest fucking fighting sport, I say this as someone who is half-Burmese, people will die.

 

Apparently, ufc fight pass has also broadcast it.

I get it, because it's always promoted as "the most brutal martial art in the world", but it's fucking dumb to be honest. I have a ton of respect for muay thai, I actually think it's the best martial art to know "on the street". A guy like Saenchai would annihilate any lethwei practitioner in a crossover fight, I'd bet my house on it. I know there's a Thailand-Burma rivalry but I've always been on the Thai side in this one. The whole "second chance" thing after getting knocked out will legit get somebody killed.

 

There's nothing dumber than that slapping shit. That's dumb.

 

It's actually the exact same thing as boxing in its first iteration.

Not quite. Yes they throw slaps like early boxers did. But...In the slapping contest, there's ZERO defensive skill or attempt to evade or minimise damage. It literally comes down to who can take it.

 

Shocking result! Wonder if they will fight a third time. Haggerty landed some nice shots in the opening minute.
