Fight is this Saturday. Both fighters seem to be on the path of rejuvenating their careers. Does Dubois have any chance in upsetting AJ?

Dubois looks a bit too hittable. He also has quit in him. If taken to that point he will just sit out a count. I think Joshua probably has quit in him too. If Joshua was to land like Hrgovic was landing then he would get Dubois out early. I'd pick Joshua but it's a closer fight than the odds suggest simply because Joshua isn't that good himself and I could see Dubois getting a 1-2 off or a right hand behind a double jab. I hope Dubois wins anyway.

Id be very surprised if Dubious wins this. Way too hittable

Dubious is mentally soft. We've seen it twice now and so, unless he's grown some fortitude sometime, somehow, I expect him to take a nap somewhere once the going gets tough.

It's a shame, because I'll be rooting for him against Joshua, who I have come to dislike enormously. Dubious has the tools for the job, but I can't see him getting it done.

There's a big difference between taking flush right hands from Hrgovic in comparison to AJ. I can't see Dubois sticking around for too long if he's as defensively slack on Saturday.

Agreed. Hrgovic just spams his right hand and isn't sitting down on it. It's good for bum crushing because hes got good volume and is also one of the best rabbit punchers with the right hand. Hrgovic also showed some questionable body language at times and completely unraveled in that Dubois fight. He's a strange dude.

Hard for me to see Dubois winning this outside of a one punch Hail Mary.

Joshua jabs Triple D's eyes out like Slow Joe Joyce did and wins

Dubois is very hittable, but there's no doubt he's going to go for Joshua from the off. I favour AJ but Dubois's left hook upstairs could pose problems.

It's a close fight until one of them lands first and best.

I think Joshua has just acquired enough- just enough- discipline to pick his moments and get Dubois out of there.

Dubois is not gery good. Lets not forget he was getting beaten up pretty bad by obese miller before miller obesity nade him slow doen significantly (whou would have thought). AJ will destroy him

AJ stays discipline, wins every round and then scores a late KO....

of course AJ could get tag, get wild and run out of gas....

Gotta disagree here, and I picked Miller to win. Dubois started very well and was racking up the rounds, throwing nice combinations. Miller had a couple of good rounds in the middle, but I think the way it panned out was more a case of Dubois getting a second wind and getting back to the game plan than Miller simply being exhausted.

Overall though, we are in agreement, I don't think he's very good either :Jest:

Not sure about this. Against Ruiz, he was in better shape. And it seemed to make all the difference. Not only did his endurance and activity improve, but he was so much quicker. Against DuBois he was slow as shit.

Ruiz has fast hands but slow feet. Dubois actually moved really well in the Miller fight, much better than I'd seen him before. Not saying you can completely rule out conditioning on Miller's part, but the movement of Dubois played a big factor imo.

Agreed. Seems pretty obvious that being in worse shape than the michelin man has a pretty big impact on a fighter performance

The UK Comms scored it by a point to Warrington, wtf. I didn't actually see it until the last few rounds so can't comment. Seems everyone else had Cacace winning comfortably.
