I gotta go with Catterall. Maybe Regis has one more on him and if he does this will be competitive. But he looked pretty shot against Haney.
I don’t know why but I don’t feel that excited for this match up. Last fight against Taylor was entertaining but that had more to do with Taylor trying to make it a fight. Regis is more of a counter puncher, plus he looked very shot against Haney. It’s either gonna be an interesting technical fight or a boring snooze fest.
Catterall Wins, But as He Did vs Linares, He’ll FAIL to Separate Himself All That Much from Prograis, Who’s WELL Past His “Sell By” Date. Catterall By UD in a Bout No One Remembers Nor Cares to Ever Watch Again… REED
Just caught extended highlights. Catterall couldn't miss with his left. I think Prograis should take up fencing next.
I heard it was a wild brawl according to the internet. Guess I'll have to live with the shame of missing it. Cunterall should move up and fight ennis
I watched it. It wasn't a 'wild brawl'. Catterall doesn't do them. It was a typical Catterall fight, in which he fought cagily for the most part but was very effective when he actually planted his feet and the threw shots. He hurt Regis in the ninth with two excellent short lefts. In the end, he deserved the win, though Prograis started nicely and was handily winning on my card at halfway. He's not particularly exciting to watch, but he's a good fighter is Jack. He's difficult to pin down and he's crafty on the counter. Fast Eddie needs to step him up, now. MTF
I'm impressed anytime was able to put together an 'extended highlights', to be honest. It wasn't a great watch (as expected). MTF
Yeah, it didn't look all that good. Catterall definitely landed the more eye-catching shots and had those two knockdowns in his favour. His "knockdown was a slip, too. Prograis' timing was well off and wasn't willing to dig in deep and make a real fight of it.
What is the greatest ever all-southpaw fight? Off the top of my head I can't think of many, it usually ends up messy as fuck.
Regis should probably hang em up. He's now gonna be nothing more than a gatekeeper. I feel like the Prograis of 6 years ago beats both Haney and Catterall, but he's now just a sluggish fighter who's easy to hit and hurt. If he quits now, he can say he only lost to name guys. If he keeps going, he's gonna lose to a journeyman.
Better fight then I expected, especially with the knockdowns. Prograis is clearly washed up though. I’m curious to see Caterall against Haney, Lopez and Paro. He’s a guy that isn’t that entertaining to watch yet still makes everyone look bad.

Jack Catterall and Arnold Barboza Jr. have agreed to square off in Manchester, England on February 15 Barboza whips him
I agree. I expect Barboza to win. But if Jack Catt pulls it off, perhaps he's inching closer to the Hall of Paz.
Barboza had tons of issues with the southpaw style of McComb and arguably lost. He'll have the same problems with Catterall, who is the epitome of an ugly, frustrating southpaw.
