    In the early 00s, some people were arguing online that Hamed would beat any featherweight to ever live.

    The response to me saying he would lose to Azumah Nelson (among others) was “boxing has advanced way too far since Nelson’s era”.

    Me: It was elder abuse, the fight should have been an exhibition and not actually a sanctioned bout.

    Friend: But there’s video of Tyson beating up a guy in an airplane a couple years ago!

    I didn’t really care when Floyd did that whole “TBE” marketing thing.

    But the fact that many people seem to take it serious and actually think it’s true annoys me.

    Same with people saying that Canelo is the best Mexican fighter ever.
