Young Vargas at 154 was definitely dangerous. But it's not hard to imagine him struggling with a guy like Madrimov.

 

Lets see a bit more of madrimov before even thinking of him beating vargas, or even be conpetitive with him

 

I’d take Vargas over Madrimov who doesn’t have the power and accuracy of Trinidad or the hand speed of De La Hoya. Fernando would probably out work him him round by round, and win it clearly based on activity.

I still don't think vargas would kick madrimovs ass. Ortiz or crawford weren't able to. Ortiz showed better defense than vargas had and made madrimov miss alot
