Best matchup of the card. Who wins? This is a fight where my head and my gut are telling me two different things. My head says that Madrimov is more gifted and skilled and will outclass Ortiz. My gut is telling me that Ortiz's firepower is gonna win out.
Ortiz wins close but clear imo. While Madrimov is a good fighter, I feel he's being overrated off the Crawford fight.
I think Ortiz will grind him down and eventually get him out of there. Madrimov has skills but he gets hit and I think he’ll take too many against Verg.
I agree it's a tough call. But hard to overlook how Madrimov's ability to land on Crawford as much as he did. Plus, if you watch that fight carefully, he set up some sneaky kill shots that Crawford was somehow able to avoid - not sure Ortiz will. OTOH, agree that Ortiz's aggression and power will be a factor.
I like ortiz more as a fan. Hes technically sound and aggressive. Style wise he is great to watch. But madrimov is quicker and stronger. He's more skilled and talented than bohachuck who gave ortiz all he could handle
I'd love to see it. I like em both but it would he great t0 see ortiz win in a great fight.
