But that is rare for all 3 to go up and straight back. One of them usually survives and for a few seasons at that.

Of far more "importance" is how teams like Reading, Wigan, Bolton Sunderland, Boro, Portsmouth etc effectively went from being able to beat big sides to basically disappearing.

American guy I don't know from another dept emails me asking about something. I see he has a Liverpool avatar. I answer his question in thrown in a YNWA.

He replies that his coach was a scouser so he adopted the team.

He's right but they're doing to him what they did to Benites and what they have not done to any British manager since Joe Kinnear..

....he's got to deny them the chance. Straight bat every fucking question.

I had a feeling this might be a banana skin, Fulham at Craven Cottage are a tough nut to crack this season.

They should have won at Anfield.

The reason I said this league was not done was because of stuff like this..

Fortunately Arsenal barely improved on it.

Arsenal will not press the issue, and Liverpool will probably make 90 points or close as anyway. Totally disagree with the 'narrative' that its a 'poor' premier league to win because the competition has somehow been sub-par...Liverpool's total will still be superior to most of Man Utd's point totals during the Fergie era, and non one dared to suggest at that time that they were the best of a mediocre bunch

General upward trend in winning points totals since the 90s but LFC probably on course for a pretty standard one by standards of last few years

Genuine top 4 race between about 5 teams including Newcastle and Villa with Forest currently 3rd and in the FA Cup final.

It's as competitive as it's been in years.

The 6th placed team in the CL quarter finals, two teams miles off it in the Europa last 8. In terms of depth it's way out in front imo

The problem is that there hasn't been a "tradishunal" title race "like last year" where Liverpool came from 5th in 2022/2023 to shit the bed late on by trying to win on 4 different fronts and Arsenal eventually did likewise.

Arsenal , by the evidence of last season, were never title winners and so far this season have acted accordingly. But they're chasing a team who finished BENEATH them so ........

City, to cap it all off, are struggling for top 4.

But last year was tradishunal in that "three teams were going for it" whereas this year was "over by Christmas"

In fact Chelsea could have gone top at Christmas.

It was right there for Arsenal the weekend they played West Ham at home and Liverpool played City away. 6 point swing.

If you want a good introduction into how politicians get away with shit spend about 10 minutes listening to cunts on talkSPORT or 606 or 5Live etc.

This feels like one of the shitest domestic seasons up here since Rangers resuscitated. They're rank rotten but our guys have slumped into total complacency (lack of squad depth, mercenaries like Kuhn angling out) so there's nothing to even enjoy in the precession to trophy day. Im actually looking forward to free weekends over the summer

Fantastic win. Credit to Arsenal as well, I've seen so many teams take a lead against Real and just try to sit back and defend it. Go out and try to run the cunts over. You're at home, make the most of it.

Real been reading too much of this shit ....

    Screenshot_20250405_144218.jpg

(Let's face it.....City had them beat, and Liverpool DID beat them)

Do not want to rob Arsenals glory , just saying that the sides in the PL are still very decent outfits.

Real did very very little tonight, just showed up, presumed they had it in the bag, and got very satisfactorily rolled.
