I think you'll get a draw, minimum....Villa put a lot into Tuesday night.

 

We've a good recent record against Villa, but tbh, I'm not overly concerned about it.

Firstly, we've three home games left. Winning those gives us 68pts. That'll be more than enough for top 5, regardless of the remainder.

Secondly, I get the FFP/finance reason for qualifying for CL, but personally, I'm easy either way. We'd go off as odds on favourites to win this conference thing (which we're already in) and, judging by the games we've seen this season, I'd back us at whatever price to win the UEFA Cup. In the CL, we're still fodder. Money notwithstanding, I'd rather be in a comp we can win.

Yes but if you want to be big time, act accordingly. It's as hard to play against Fuckstick FC on Thursday as it is to play Barcelona or Bayern on Tuesday. Plus people want to play for you and you get noticed globally. Sad it needs to be that way but it's what it is.

 

Big time takes time. When you've won one pot in 56 years, winning more pots build momentum.

I'm easy either way. Obviously if we get CL, I'll be delighted. I simply won't cry if we don't, either.
