We've all been saying it's done for ages precisely because it was Arsenal that were chasing you. They were always bound to drop points. Prime City would have been a different story.

 

I mostly like it. It's total football at both ends now, defenders having to string intricate passing patterns together, strikers having to press and defend as part of their remit. But, as per vid, sounds like it's swung a bit far and is due a corrective. I don't know what "Prime City" is. They won it 18/19 and 20/21 and 23/24 and have NEVER made up a meaningful (12 points?) gap on anyone bar Man United in 2012 and that was not 12 points.

I was looking at the format for next season's CL. It sounds like England could possibly get six spots.

Russia is still banned for next season and rightfully so. They're giving two extra spots to two countries that earned the most coefficient points this season. That will give England a fifth spot. And if Spurs or Man U win the Europa that should give them a sixth.

 

Unless there was already a big gap.
