Another thing:- I'm convinced all is not as it should be in terms of corruption. Just a coincidence Villa were robbed? Probably but not definitely.

In 2020 Villa avoided relegation because the Prem's goal line technology was by their own words, "not working."

They have a chance to win the Europa League. They aren't winning the CL.

And Forest really shit the bed the final month. That could haunt them going forward. Memories of Everton in '21.

I will as well. I quite like Cates to be fair, she seems relentlessly lovely.

    Cates is lovely..

Leatherface Logan reminds me of this old sketch .....

Edit:- can't find it online. It's the old fairy liquid send up.

Another thing that should not be forgotten about Lineker, regardless of what you think of him, he was an absolutely superb footballer.

In fairness, Liverpool had it won weeks ago and took their foot off the pedal once the title was sealed. Similar to Arsenal in '98, that was technically a one-point title win, but they'd wrapped it up way before and lost the remaining games.

Perhaps but they were STILL going to finish under the 97 that got them 2nd in 2019.....I think a lot of it is increased depth in the league.

For the second season in a row these five clubs were joined at the hip. Brentford, Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham & Palace. Like a centipede crawling up and down the table between 8th and 12th. No one can leap frog them unless they jump all five. No one can fall behind them unless they drop below all five.

Oh, and Man City still haven't been punished for their 115 FFP breaches.

The league that fast tracked Everton & Forest for point deductions while both were battling relegation for two and one breaches respectively is now willing to look the other way for City.

Just seen some more footage of the driver in Liverpool yesterday. Can't excuse his actions but it's plain that a gang of no good morons were hitting the car as he tried some awkward but non-violent manoeuvres in difficult circumstances .....and basically he snapped once this particular dimlow started beating his rear window.

Quite good seeing so many less-predictable winners in different leagues this year : Rijeka, Poznan, Sporting, USG, PSV, Sturm Graz, nearly Midtylland. The swiss league was drifting towards being unipolar too but Basel beat out Young boys. Rangers still miles off it but I can live with that

1 in 5 chance of Celtic-Tel Aviv. And I'll tell you right now, I'd looov it, looov it if we beat them

Why is this post quoted by @Hut*Hut in a totally different forum?

I know and they think people can't see it or don't care, which is the more likely of the two..

Newcastle & Villareal got the two spots they would have given Russia.

Just b/c my reply had nothing to do with fitbaw so I punted it over. Heres the time Paul McStay showed Paul Scholes how to play

Sign everybody! Huge signings! Pay them what they ask !!!

Honestly, in 2017, I said I didn't want Salah cos he'd ignored us for Chelsea in 2012.

I'm the wrong guy to be asking! Lol

Celtic get £6m of the fee so I quite like the signing. Very different attributes to TAA - one of the best ball carriers in the game but nothing like the deep passing ability

I read Liverpool are looking at Florian Wirtz but Bayer will only accept some kind if record breaking number.

TAAA was a legit QB on passing and delivery.

Yeah, quite a unique skillset, probably impossible to replace like for like. I know the levels are different (and it's often overshadowed by what a shit defender he is) but Tavenier has played a similar role for Rangers. Not only the amount of assists but the ball progression stats really carry Rangers

Plasterer just showed up at my house, gigantic black geezer from the islands, looks like a cross between Stormzy and Tiger Flowers with just a hint of Sonny Liston.

    Seems friendly enough though.

    Seems.
