Knickers will still win this series barring injury. They are bigger and more physical. That was a gut wrenching loss though. Fuckin nesmith had his bucky dent game

S.T. green never had a game like that where he made 4 or 5 threes in the last 5 minutes of the 4th quarter. Towns and anunoby both blowing FTs was definitely a choke job but then Haliburton hit a lucky shot

    Still picking the Knicks here

The league wants to create stars or at least push those who are close to it as much as possible because all they care about is their bottom line. Surely you guys have seen some of the videos of the obvious NBA draft collusion from the past few years. If not Google it.

As for Edwards I like his game but I don't like his mentality. He not only disrespected the NBA players of the past on several occasions but that stupid bitched up take he had on not wanting to be the face of the league really made me lose respect for him and I am actively rooting against him.

I disagree the Knicks will win. I think Indiana is way more mentally tougher and confident and they definitely have the better coach. Also, in the heat of the moment the Knicks go away from team ball and rely too much on Brunson.

I actually give Indiana a real good shot at winning the NBA title because their offense sometimes is off the charts.

So Lebron signing off on it makes it right? Of course Lebron signed off on it. He's the one who pretty much showed the next generation how to to take from the league while giving little in return. He's been a terrible ambassador for the league and the NBA has significantly regressed under his watch.

Refusing to enter in the dunk contest, stacking teams, sitting out the all-star game. Speaking of the all-star game, there's even a story that Larry Bird spoke to the all-star players one year to try to motivate them to play hard and the story goes that Lebron gave a side eye to the guys to just go out and mail it in.

So yeah of course Lebron signed off on it, he's a piece of shit narcissist who only cares about himself and it's evident in how he treats his fans, teammates and so called friends.

The reason I think the league chose Sha is more to prevent Jokic who rightfully should have won MVP last year and this year from getting another MVP. The league and ESPN seem to be making this hardcore push to make Lebron the greatest player ever and it's evident in the ridiculous fact he somehow made 2nd team all NBA. Stephen A and others also spilled the beans on how clutch sports is pressuring and even paying off sports announcers and pundits to push the Lebron is greater than Jordan narrative. So I don't think there's so much a push to make Sha the face of the league, just MVP. In all honesty they still pushed the Lakers and Golden State this season way more than they did Sha, so once the playoffs are over expect things to go back to normal.

REED's in the Middle of You and Lb 4 Lb When it Comes to Bron...

The TIMING of his All-Star Snub was VERY Problematic...If REED Isn't Mistaken, He Told the League on GAMEDAY, That He Wouldn't Be Playing in the All-Star Game...Bron Knew WELL Before Then That he WASN'T Playing in the Game That Day...

The League Actually Wanted Bron and Bronny to Team Up in the Skills Challenge Too, But Bron Eschewed the Entire Weekend, THEN Didn't Even Bother to Wear His All Star Uniform When He Finally Showed Up to Be w/His Peers...

Bron's Got BITCH Tendencies for Sure, Especially When it Comes to Getting Coaches Fired...& REED Would for SURE Say Bron "Ruined" the Dunk Contest...Openly Politicking for Bronny to Be in the League Goes w/Out Saying...

But to Say Bron "Ruined" the League Itself is Silly AF, Considering the League Has Never Been More PROFITABLE, As Evidenced by Player Salaries...

Can't Bitch About the Money Guys are Making, Then PRETEND the Exorbitant Salaries AREN'T a Byproduct of a SUCCESSFUL Business Model...Owners AIN'T Giving Money Away Out of the Kindness of their Hearts OR Going Broke to Pacify Player Ego's...

Lb 4 Lb is Certainly Entitled to His Opinion, But it's Pretty CLEAR He's Harbored Ill Feelings Towards Bron for Awhile, a Lot of Which REED Can "Relate" To, but NOT to the Point of Accusing Dude of Ruining the NBA...

  21. The Genius

    The Genius DEMONRY!!

Personally I think LeBron will be less appreciated when he’s out of the league which is the opposite of what normally happens. Stayed too long and overshadowed younger players that the league should have moved onto by now. The open goat politicking is also not a great look.

Probably top three player at worst but I think has been his own worst enemy.

There's really nothing hes gonna do to surpass Jordan in some fans minds

But the muthafucka was 2nd team all nba at age 40. That means still a top ten player basically 25 seasons into his career when you factor in all the postseason

I get you think Bron is okay and obviously it's painted that way but only because his biggest faults are either glossed over or flat out ignored.

Look at how him and clutch sports are openly trying to rewrite history in their interviews recently by Rich Paul saying Bosh wasn't a big three player in an effort to make LBJ look better or LBj recently claiming how Jordan didn't win his championships alone and even lying about Jordan not touching the ball at all during Paxson's game winner.

Meanwhile LBJ is the guy who never gives his teammates credit, openly shows up his teammates to make it look like he wasn't the one to screw up defensive assignments, asks for help every season and off season, has an injury excuse after every playoff failure including this last one. Gets teammates traded, coaches fired, walks off the court early without showing class and shaking hands and then lying about it.

He is just an overall piece of shit. What exactly has he done to uplift the game other than being a great player? He has not set any kind of positive example to follow and Neil mentioning how it's okay for him to sit out the all-star game misses the bigger picture because others will now think that's the model to follow which is evident when Paul George complained about having to play in the all-star game on one of his podcasts.

Yeah the league is making a ton of money off of tv and multiple streaming contracts but ratings have been going down steadily since around 2012. So I'd say there's a lot of evidence that the league has in fact regressed under LBJs watch although I give a lot of credit to Adam Silver as well.

Oh yeah, lol I didn't mean that vitriol pointed at you.

Anyway both Lebron and Ants point about not wanting to be the face of the league is about being under a constant microscope but that comes with being an NBA player and being in the public eye. Regardless of if you're the face or not you're going to catch strays. So IMO they were both just whining about nothing.

Being the face of the league is nothing but a huge honor that would put way more dollars in your pocket but Antman would rather run from the responsibility and somehow Lebron and others think that's a good thing. I just think it's pathetic and soft.

Watched NY - Ind gm 3 a day late. My thoughts:

    EARLY OBSERVATION
I thought it might be a bad sign that Indiana was up early when in the other 2 games they won by coming back in the second half.

    INDIANA'S MENTALITY
The bigger issue I noticed was in the last quarter Indiana for the first time (that I noticed) Indiana looked doubtful and hesitant when the secret for their success seems to be in an unshakable belief in themselves and their offense and when I saw that hesitancy I knew they would lose.

    KARL TOWNS
I think he's a unique individual and liability in how wild he is. He came up big but I wouldn't want him on my team.

KAT has a penchant for unconsciously flailing his arms and commiting a foul on either defense or offense and it seems to get worse in the playoffs. I also think--especially given his price tag--that he's too inconsistent and wild to be relied on.

    PREDICTION
I still think Indy wins because they're the better deeper team and IMO have a better less stubborn coach. Moreso I think an Indy-OKC series would be a better finals because the 2 teams mirror each other in how much offense they produce and how deep they both go into their benches.

I think the difference with OKC though is their defense is making it too hard for Ant to do his thing.

I don't get Ant, he should be watching tape and emulating how Jordan played above the rim. They showed the slowmo on that aborted dunk layup he did and his hang time really reminded me of Mike. I mean he was just floating.

Then later he's going to the basket with little Caruso on his hip and he passes the ball. Why not just out jump and dunk on these dudes like Mike used to? Ant could totally be the face of the league but he'd rather shoot three pointers and doesn't want it. Too bad for us.

  28. Neil

    Neil tueur de grenouilles

Caruso is elite defensively. The muthafucka shut down jokic in game 7. He guards anyone

It's very telling that when okc went with their top defensive line up, gilgeous Alexander was subbed out. And he is a very good defender. Just not as good as caruso, dort, williams or Wallace
