Two talented southpaws @ 160. Does Maravilla beat Johnson similar to the way RJJ with his superior athletic gifts or can Johnson outbox him using his superior skills?
I'd take Johnson in a close one. I think he'd be just a tad too sharp for Martinez and he's definitely got enough power to make Martinez pay for any mistakes. I think Martinez would make it close with the judges by being more active and having the more crowd pleasing style. Johnson would outbox and counter Martinez when it counts. Johnson's body punching would definitely weaken Martinez. I wouldn't be surprised if Johnson drops Martinez somewhere along the way with a hard counter shot probably the right hook.
