Finally some good closure to the controversy. Long overdue but at least now RJJ can finally put that behind him.

Just saw this on instagram. Happy for Roy. Hope the IOC does the right thing also. Roy should give Park Si Hun the silver medal.

I remember the 1988 Olympics vividly. I was 9 and would watch it nightly at my grandma's house. Roy became my favorite fighter since the first round of the tournament. I shed a few tears when he was robbed because Roy had his head under a towel and I knew he was crying too. This was my first memory of a boxing robbery by scorecards.

 

I think in my mind this is the prelude to a rematch on Netflix

 

So this is just the fighter handing over the medal. Not the IOC with the insistence of the Korean committee?
