Crawford could put on a masterclass and claim a historic win. I just don't see it. Canelo will gradually catch up to him. Ginge hasn't had a win inside the distance since 2021. That may change. But I'm going with Canelo by UD.

Canelo fans seem to banking on Canelo wearing Bud down, but I just dont see it. If Canelo's gonna get Bud outta there, it needs to be inside 7 and he needs to be hurting Bud early.

If Bud gets into a groove and builds an early lead, I think it's all downhill for the Ginger. Regardless of size, there's just a natural gap in stamina between these two. Bud just has a better natural gas tank than the spurt fighter.

Canelo has to apply tremendous pressure from the VERY start. If he's counter-punching and allows Bud to get into a rhythm/comfort, then you're gonna see the gap in the skill level between the two.

 

Alvarez best chance is if he lands some clean shots early that make crawford hesitant and he can win a slow paced decision

 

I think Crawford pulls it off.

 

I normally just go with who i think is the better fighter even when there is a size difference, but in this one the skill gap is not huge as sometimes these going up in weight matchups are.

I have to stick with it though. Crawford by decision.

Canelo UD. I think Crawford is just here for the payday and will be happy to lose a UD and get out of the ring safely so he can go shopping.

 

That's NOT Crawford's personality at all. He's not a pussy ass mental midget like the Charlo sisters. He's a HIGHLY confident and competitive guy. Not confident in the sense that he feels the need to boast about it either. True confidence.

I assure you... he thinks he can beat Canelo. Alvarez isn't some invincible juggernaut who's never been bested before. Whether he can beat Canelo or not, we're gonna find out in 2 days, but I promise you Crawford believes he can win and he's not just here for the check.

 

I hope so. Canelo has more firepower but if they were the same size I'd be picking Crawford. I wasn't enamoured by his interviews where he was saying Canelo was top big and he wasn't considering the fight until some trainer told him "that's your fight".

 

I think Bud seeing Canelo’s performance against Charlo is what convinced him that he could beat Canelo.

 

We will see. Im not sold on this narrative of Crawford being a never say die fighter. Yeah he showed some heart against Little ass Gamboa and the sucky Benavidez, but im far from sure that he will show the same willingness to win against a bigger and better (compared to the aforementioned two) fighter.

 

Crawford lacks the testicular fortitude of a warrior like Jean Pascal

 

In terms of mental toughness and just being a bad mfer, Crawford is the realest fighter in all of combat sports.
