I have almost forgotten how much of a beast Hatton really was.

Just for clarity though, Hatton was a supporter of Manchester City, Manchester United are their city rivals.

I wonder if CTE will get mentioned albeit my own feeling it wasn't related to that.

 

CTE is always blamed whenever a boxer, wrestler, or American football player offs themselves or commits any act of violence. In some cases it certainly IS the culprit, but not in this case I dont think. Hatton likely had clinical depression, not sure if it was officially diagnosed or not.

My question is did he leave a suicide note?

 

My guess would be no, sounds like a spontaneous act. His manager who found him said he "didn't think it was deliberate". I don't believe that tbh, the vast majority of suicides are impulsive, but that quote would obviously suggest that there wasn't a note at the scene.

 

Hate hearing that he committed suicide. He had some demons that he’s been dealing with for years now. Only wish he had the help and support when he really needed it.

Rest in power champ.

 

Even with help and support, if you dont wanna live and you wanna take steps to end it, no one can really stop it.

 

Anyone check the whereabouts of Amanda Rodrigues when this went down ?

 

I heard she's been living in Manchester for a while but that could be a coincidence.
