Now that Danny Garcia is close to retiring how would you rate his boxing career? Would you consider him a HOF level fighter? Garcia is someone who was very polarizing while he was on top but the list of names that he’s beaten and faced on his resume is actually pretty good.

    Nate Campbell
    Kendall Holt
    Erik Morales
    Amir Khan
    Zab Judah
    Lucas Matthysse
    Mauricio Herrera
    Lamont Peterson
    Paulie Malignaggi
    Robert Guerrero
    Keith Thurman (Loss)
    Brandon Rios
    Shawn Porter (Loss)
    Errol Spence Jr (Loss)
    Erislandy Lara (Loss)

Fuccckkkkkkkk NO Danny's not a HOFmer!!

Just a good, solid career. Nothing more, nothing less. He got the most out of this abilities, considering that he wasn't especially physically gifted. But no, he didn't do nearly enough to warrant the HOF. Two good wins in his career over prime guys, Khan and Matty Ice. Lost every other big fight in his career. That ain't HOF worthy.

What I'll say positive about Danny is that its a shame Teofimo lacks Danny's dedication and maturity. Fimo was blessed with more talent, yet has had a more up and down career due to being an inconsistent dickhead. At least Danny was a steady fighter.

Danny also seems like a good guy and he's a good family man. I wish him nothing but the best in retirement, but no I dont think he's a HOFmer.

Garcia vs Teo is an interesting matchup.

An interesting thing about the Thurman fight is if you watch the first round or so, Garcia is countering Thurman well and winning handily. Then he gets caught with a shot between and goes into a shell for the rest of the fight.

Yeah, Garcia had a lot of "give" in him. He got tamed by Thurman and he was in total survival mode against Spence. But that was at 147. I'd take Danny over Teo at 140. Teo hasn't really impressed that much at 140. Whats he done? Outbox a faded Taylor?

Beating prime versions of Khan and Matty Ice goes further than a Taylor win.

I liked Danny, as has previously been said he wasn't the most talented guy, but he had really good fundamentals and made the most out of what he had. Not a HOF guy in my view but he was a good fighter.

Tim had a better resume than Danny. Tim was also a better fighter than Danny. He's more deserving, even though Bradley's one of the weaker inductees.

I agree that Bradley is a better fighter than Danny Garcia was.

No I don’t think Danny is a hall of famer. He’s an overachiever for sure. Got the most out of his talent and did the best he could. His performance against Thurman was disappointing, seeing as he never even tried going into another gear in that fight, and was content to just being out worked and posing like he was doing enough.

Good fighter, made some money, and had a decent run, but not HOF worthy.
