Does Oleksandr have enough tricks to frustrate and outpoint Bowe or is Big Daddy a bridge too far for Usyk?
I think Usyk can win it tbh. Bowe's only loss was to a smaller, legendary cruiserweight. He was having early trouble with Hide, who was harder hitting than Usyk, but much less skilled, with way less punch resistance and a lot less heart. Bowe was brilliant, I just want to say, I don't rule him out, but I personally pick Usyk.
The fight I had in mind was Tony Tubbs. He was able to give Bowe problems with his skill and boxing ability. I could see Usyk landing some flush counters and getting Bowe's respect. I'd pick Bowe because unlike Joshua and others he would hammer Usyk's body and eventually wear him down. Usyk would make him pay at times with sharp counters but Bowe would keep pressuring him and landing bigger punches. It's not a blowout but Bowe has too much in the tank for Usyk and eventually stops him.
Bowe might just say to hell with your feints, I'm coming inside. He will have the attitude that he's the bigger guy and will impose himself on Usyk. He could do good from the outside I think but if its not going well I believe he will just Bowe him i.e get inside and do him.
That's how i see it too, but if course just going inside is always easier said than done. Beyond the feints what Usyk is a master of is throwing punches with lots of varied power in both hands which really makes it difficult for opponents. It reminds of the video game Street Fighter where you had 6 buttons. Three punches ranging from light to hard and the same with kicks. It's like Usyk has 20 buttons and knows how and when to use each.
