Which is why Parker was defending himself adroitly against the ropes as Wardley did his Drunken Froch Leaping Amateur routine.

Didn't see it live but it sounds like a bad stoppage. I like both guys and was rooting for Parker.

Has heart and is showing increased nous and improved decision making. Stamina is suspect. Finishing is lacking. Power is decent, heart is there. Gets sloppy when tired. Never hard to find. Cute uppercut. Moves ok.

Yeah Wardley is not very good but you gotta credit his heart, determination and power. He kinda of reminds me of a poor's man Ronaldo Snipes

Parker was up 98-92, 96-94, 95-95 at the time of the shitty stoppage by the usually terrible Howard Foster, who has fucked up fights for decades. #boxing #ParkerWardley

Was it Howard Foster? For fucks sake :Jest:. How does this guy still get employed as a ref?

.....right now ....I'm asking myself "who was the ref the night Wardley was blowing out his ass and hgsg big Mexican threw himself on the mat to save him".....
.....I'm hoping it wasn't Foster. I have enough conspiracy going on.

Has to be immediate rematch. Which is probably the point.

When a guy is 6 rounds up, looks disorganised rather than badly hurt, hasn't been dropped, and the guy who wins is exhausted, the bell isn't far off, and the finishing combo misses .....it's a bad stoppage.

Wardley would have spent the next 90 seconds of the final round just getting his wind back.

There definitely needs to be a rematch. I'd rather see Kabayal in there with Usyk than either of these two (though Parker has more than earned his shot). That can happen whilst these two run it back.

HW is such in an utterly pathetic state. I like Kabayev, he has heart, is decently skilled, and is scrappy. But lets not kid ourselves, the guy is nothing more than a gatekeeper in the 90's-2000's. Sad that he's pretty much the undisputed nb 1 contender. And as I said before, while Usyk is a great fighter, I dont think he's anything special at HW. Yet, he seems pretty much undethronable by this bunch of lazy clowns.

Thankfully, theres a few interesting prospects coming on, most notably Jolalov, Torres and Itauma. Lets just hope that they blossoms

Haha wow. Cocaine stay in your blood and urine only for a few days. Guy was literally snorting lines on the week of the fight. No wonder he "lost" to a scrub like Wardley

Man did he blow it. But it means he never would've beaten Usyk anyway.
