I can't really blame him. Boxing can be a hard life and it's not going to get easier with age. From what I gather he doesn't live a flashy lifestyle so the payday from the Canelo fight alone should be good for life.

If he does every decide to return hopefully it's because he does find something else to prove and not due to poor financial decisions.

Enjoy retirement, Bud. Greatest fighter of this generation. Realistically, I'd say he's the second best fighter of the last 30 years behind Roy.

BTW - he's far and away the best/greatest fighter I got to watch live. Wish I could have seen a prime Jones fight in person, but at least I got to see Bud.

Probably a ploy to milk those stupid muslims for more money in Canelo rematch.

No, not a ploy. Bud never had interest in a rematch. The public has no interest in the rematch either.

The amount of hate that Bud is getting on Boxingforum24 is something else. I’m honestly confused as why Bud still gets shitted on. A fighter that has achieved things that no other fighter has done, fought the best possible opponents, actually fights in an entertaining style, and doesn’t talk trash. He retires on top and yet I see a lot of bitter posts towards him. Am I missing something here?

Lucky, would have loved to see Bud in person. Which fight did you see from him live?

The end of his career was great, but before
the last 3 fights, it let a lot to be desired.

Hell, we all blast pbf for his resume, but it's much better than crawford one

Alvarez probably told him the rematch would be under the same terms, just he told bivol

Crawford still may fight. If he keeps fighting id like to see him at 160 vs ennis ortiz winner. Otherwise he should retire

Eastside is notoriously and historically biased against Black American fighters and in favor of Eastern Euro fighters. Theres nothing else to get besides that.

Which is why Crawford's retirement thread is filled with hate over there, yet when Loma retired, you would have thought the greatest fighter in history retired how they sung his praises.

I called it from the VERY START that Crawford was a higher level fighter than Fraudachenko. Of course, Loma's cock suckers laughed at me and berated me -- until Fimo showed just how overrated the guy was.

The Eastside boys are still bitter about that. That Crawford is this generation's greatest fighter, because they wanted so badly for the Ukrainian diva to have the career Crawford had.

Crawford has just as many kids as Rivers, so that's a good point.

Apparently once you retire from the nfL they cover your Healthcare for 5 years. Phyllis rivers just reset that clock for his tribe of 20

Off topic, but I feel for Danny Dimes. Or Indiana Jones, as the fanbase was calling him. He was proving to the league that he's a solid, yet not elite, starter... boom. Season over.

Janny jimes was doing ok. Minnesota probably shoulda made more of an effort to sign him but he went to a better situation with the colts running game and iffy young qb the franchise had already lost faith in

What do you think of Shedeur? I think he's fucking garbage and will be out of the league in a few years, but the Black community is ready to pistol whip any brother that doesn't claim that bum as the next coming of Joe Montana, so I try to stay quiet...

He has potential. Woulda been better off if the browns didn't play him because now hes gonna have all this mediocre tape out there while surrounded by a pack of losers and OL injuries

But if teams really thought highly of his talent he woulda got picked in round 2 or 3 in spite of the circus his father brings

Theres a disturbing amount of people who believe Shedeur will be better than Caleb Williams.

Williams, half a fag though he is, has more talent in one of his gay ass finger nails than Shedeur has in his whole body.

Williams posted some social media thing regarding that

Sanders has potential,.he has above average arm talent and athleticism but williams is elite in both departments

More importantly williams is coached by one of the best possible coaches as far as qb development while sanders is a brown

Caleb has the potential to be the greatest QB the Bears have ever had. I know that isnt saying much considering their QB goats are McMahon and Cutler, but Williams is well on a trajectory of surpassing both in accolades.

NEGOTIATING Tactic was REED's Initial Thought, But Bud is More Principled and Has More Integrity Than Most Boxers...If Any Fighter Could STAY Retired, it's Terence "Bud" Crawford...

Boxers Are THE Absolute Worst When it Comes to Retiring Though, So You HAVE to Expect a COURTESY "Comeback" from Bud; 1 @ the Very Least...

Based on what beating a crippled/brain damaged Spence and an overrated Canelo? I dont see it. Pacquio is better than Bud.

Pacquaio sure had plenty chances to prove he was better than Crawford when the fight was offered him like 50 fuckin times while both were with top rank

Exactly. Pac wanted no parts of Crawford.

Pac is a GREATER fighter than Crawford. I sure as fuck wouldn't consider him better. At the end of the day, Pac was always one dimensional and had a limited ring IQ. In other words, the opposite of Crawford.

Pac is greater no doubt but Crawford would have always been a bad match up for him even in his prime. Pac knew thCrawford easily dispatching Jeff Horn
