Froch TBH is overrated on this forum at this point.

I'll be the first to admit he was very underrated on here 15 years ago, but theres been an overcorrection imo.

Calzaghe wouldn't go life and death with George Groves, and wouldn't need a hometown decision to get past Andre Dirrell.

    Froch is over-glorified on Fightbeat.

P.S. @meetthefeebles nothing hometown decision about Kessler-Froch 1. I thought Kessler clearly won. Froch had early success, but Kessler took over the fight after the mid-rounds. It was a 7-5 or 8-4 Kessler win imo.

    Lol for fuck sake

Calzaghe went life and death with Robin Reid, Sakio Bika and fucking Kabary Salem (a bit of an overstatement on the last one ill admit).

Funny how Calzaghe fans act like the Kessler and Lacy fights were not outliers in his career. They were great performances, but he has a ton more fights were he struggled against mid level to bums and looked real’y shitty

Nah, hard disagREED. As I watched that fight live, I had it 6-6 even. There were a lot of very close round which you know get scored for the home fighter. I had no problem with Kessler getting the W, but 8-4 is far too wide imo.

Again, and as much as I hate defending that twat, Calzaghe had an annoying habit of fighting to his opponent. When he thought he had to step out up, generally he did. The Reid fight and the Starie fights are the exceptions - he could have easily lost both of those. But whether he was the underdog, he stepped up.

Come on. Direll ran and stunk his life out in that fight. Hometown decision my arse. If Direll won that fight, we should all go home.

I was really happy to see Dirrell lose that fight. There are very few things more satisfying than seeing a safety first performance get no respect from the judges. I really enjoyed the Holyfield Lewis draw. Lewis was fighting like an absolute pussy in there and I can't describe how happy I was to see the draw result. De La Hoya running vs Trinidad and losing is another one. I really wish Wlad had got that Fury fight decision. Fury then went on like it was a 12-0 fight when both did fuck all in the fight and it could have gone either way.

I'm always here for negative fighters losing decisions and crying about it.
