The extent of the injuries won't be done until various scans and test are done. That might not even reveal everything. The "minor" injuries might refer to surface level like abrasions.

 

From the video it seems like the front of the car is crushed to fuck, but the back is surprisingly intact. Pure luck, it seems.

 

As I understand it, that road is notorious for breakdowns and accidents, and cones etc are almost never put down to warn oncoming traffic. It sounds like they were trying to overtake above the speed limit and by the time they saw the stationary, broken down truck it was too late.

 

Makes sense. Traffic mowing slowly, driver getting frustrated and there is finally an opening so they floor it and then run right into something before they have time to stop.

 

Awful news to hear. Wishing nothing but a speedy recovery and RIP to the deceased.

From what I saw the truck was parked on the shoulder. Looks like jackass driver tried to pass on the shoulder and didn't see it. Good job jackass... and of course HE survives..

AJ is quite literally only alive because he's a celebrity. Under normal circumstances, the physically biggest guy in a group would be sitting up front, and had AJ been sitting up front he would 1000% be dead right now. I reckon he only sat stuffed in the back because putting a megastar up front in plain sight would garner too much attention. His status literally saved his life.

 

Dont know how it is in Nigeria per say, but I went to South Africa and Swaziland, and the driving is pretty tame. Got friends from Burkina and Guinea, and they told me the same thing. Sure there's always a truck broken down on the side of the road, but your arent supposed to be there.

Its not like Lebanon or Iran were people are driving around like they are in a death cult

 

After a lifetime of driving in NYC and Jersey, I dont think theres any roads in the world that could intimidate me.
