It's hard for me to handicap because Loma's resume was so thin. Casamayor fought all the best fighters of his generation other than Floyd. All we can go on is how Loma handled Rigo, but a faded, tiny Rigo isnt the same thing as a prime Casa. Objectively, I do think Loma is the favorite here, but not a substantial one.
For me, the best version of Casamayor was the one that took apart Jon Kwon Baek. That version of Casa vs the Loma that beat up Walters is a great match-up. Again, I think Loma is the favorite, he's more dynamic, but peak Casa could very well score the upset.
