@ 140. Bramble was at his best when he beat Ray Mancini twice at 135 before he ran into Edwin Rosario. By then he was already a gatekeeper at 140 but still put on some decent performances despite losing fights. Does a guy like Augustus have a decent chance against the washed up version of Bramble who have been in a lot of wars at 140?
On the right night Augustus might win but he didn't have enough power to put Bramble in a shell and that makes it a tough fight. If Bramble has anything left like the versions that beat Brazier and gave Oba Carr a tough fight he wins. After that Augustus probably clowns his way to a disputed decision.
Mannnnn WTF kinda question is this? Emanuel Augustus was a bum. He was FNF level at best. Bramble anywhere close to his best would beat the ever living fuck outta that bum.
Prime Bramble who beat Mancini twice would beat Augustus no problem. Post Rosario version of Bramble who started to do more weed, take the sport less seriously, get into hard fought brawls, and lose more often at 140 wasn’t too far off from that level though. Augustus would have to catch Bramble at the perfect time to have any shot against him. I do think the version of Bramble who stopped Brazier and was close to beating Oba Carr would have beaten Augustus convincingly.
