We know now. Teo is not a great and he's not even a very good. He's just good. He'll always have the Loma win, which was a combination of three things: 1. Size, 2. Loma potentially taking him lightly, 3. Loma being one of the most overrated fighters who ever lived.

And he has the Taylor win, but history showed that Josh was bang average.

He has a loss to Kambozos, an arguable loss to Martin, and now Shakur has showed us his true level.

    He's a B- fighter. Arguably even C+.

I say he had some A- skills but hurt himself by being a mental case and having his bitchass dad in his corner instead of a real trainer.

People thought Angel Garcia was bad but at the end of the day Angel trained Danny to a successful career.

Teo has more talent than Danny, but because his daddy is so horrible Teo has more holes in his game.

Teo Senior makes Angel Garcia look like Cus D'Amato by comparison.

This era of lightweights/junior welters/welters are essentially in three tiers.

    Rolly and Ryan are bums.

Teo, Tank, Keyshawn, Haney are all on the same level. Keyshawn is potentially a tier above those three -- we'll see.

Shakur is extremely clearly a level above them all.

Not so sure than Shakur is better than Davis or Haney. Id pick him, but its no foregone conclusion

    I rewatched Davis-Roach last night.

It's pretty damn foregone. One can the make the case for Davis landing that elusive bomb, but realistically, how often does that elusive puncher's chance win out? 1/10 times?

Shakur is a substantial favorite over Tank at this point.

And Haney??? How does Haney beat Stevenson??? He doesnt have the power to threaten Shakur, and he sure as fuck cant outbox him. No one in the world around those weights can outbox Shakur.

I was surprised at how amateurish Teo looked. He's just a pot-shotter. He doesn't seem to have a plan or strategy other than go out there and try to pot shot. He did land some nice bodyshots on shakur but didn't really build on it. And he was constantly crossing his feet when he tried to get inside which meant he was not in good position to punch even if he got there in time.

Teo is a poor man's Keith Thurman if we're being totally honest. Same flaws, but Thurman had more firepower and a higher ring IQ.

Haney could trouble him if he fight like he did against Loma. Being aggressive and throwing lot of punches.

Tank probably gets outboxed and befuddled by Stevenosn, and his odds are getting worse by the days. But still, while Shakur was impressive last saturday, his resume is still very thin. I'm not ready to annoint him as the new king yet

Tank's windows is closed, like I said in a previous thread.

He needed for Shakur to still be green, and he needed for Shakur's body to still be developing.

Now, Shakur has not only entered his prime, he's grown into his frame.

It would be a wipe out. It would probably resemble Crawford-Spence, only without the KDs and stoppage.

Thurman is a better boxer imo. Can circle the ring with a jab, fight backing up.

Yup, which is why I said Teo is a poor man's.

Thurman's mentally tougher in general. I mean, Keith was far from Ray Robinson, but he would never shit the bed against a Bozos level fighter.

Looking back now Teo really benefit a lot from his wins over Loma and Taylor where their styles made him look good. I do think he’s made it farther than most people would have expected which says lot about his gifts. He’s pretty much a better version of Adrien Broner but Teo’s flaws are very apparent. Great athletic talents can only get you so far if you don’t have proper fundamentals or coaching and he got exposed big time. He is need of a credible trainer who isn’t just a cheerleader but someone that can properly guide him.

This is very inaccurate. He got rocked by Soto Karass in the first round, but in no way, shape, or form did it come close to him almost getting stopped. He recovered very fast.

And that's still less embarrassing than getting dropped hard in your hometown by Bozos, and getting dropped by feather fisted Martin.

Hot take: Khan would have beaten Teo.

Khan would outbox Teo until one bunch changes the fight and gets stopped similar to Danny Garcia.

Teo has nowhere near the power of Danny.

I disagree. Garcia is just a bigger guy with a much better chin but I dont see any great power edge. Garcia didn't out a dent in anyone worth a damn in his second division 147

Teo hasnt stopped a soul since Campa, whom he stopped on his feet. And Campa is a nobody.

Garcia's KO of Rios is a good example. So is the Morales rematch. Teo doesn't have that type of power.

He’s like a B level guy. He’ll probably get into the hall. He at least deserves credit for getting in there with top guys. But his loss to Kambosos really highlights how far he is from the truly elite level.

Khan would have a chance against Teo until he gets caught with something. Teo didn’t hit as hard as Prescott or Garcia but he hits hard enough to hurt Amir.

Struggling and arguably losing to Jahmaine Ortiz hasn't been mentioned.
