Garcia must be thinking the Stevenson fight is there now and is a big payday

The rematch with haney is there too but will always be there even after he gets clowned by stevenson

If he faces haney and loses badly the Stevenson payday forever evaporates

All That said, I expect his next fight is vs benn

Garcia vs Benn is a good match-up.

Ryan admittedly looked better than I expected him to look. I wouldn't be shocked if he beat Benn.

Shakur is way out of his league though.

REED Ain't High on Conor Benn @ All, Yet Thinks He's a BAD Matchup for the Ry Guy in a Rough, Rugged, Rolly Romero Kind of Way...

Yes Actually, Because There's a 0% Chance Floyd (Approaching 50) Could Handle the Speed, Feints and Power of the Ry Guy...

    It'd Probably Be Leonard-Camacho 2.0...

Surprised. I thought Garcia looked great. Admittedly, Barrios was lost in there. But some of that was Garcia's doing. He won every round. Showed excellent hand-speed. And he didn't get hit much either, despite being very offensive.

He looked good by Ryan standards, which is all we should be holding him to. He didnt look like Ray Leonard, but I think by now we know he'll never be a Leonard level fighter. By his own standards it was the best performance of his career, and because I picked Barrios, I give Ryan credit. He's a decent fighter when he's on his A-game. Not P4P level, but better than the level he showed versus Rolly.

Hes at the level he showed against Rolly. But he does have some talent. His skills are very basic though and he cant handle adversity. Barrios is so mediocre that he just couldn't get him out of his comfort zone.

He's a weird one. He can beat and be competitive against much better non-puncher boxer type because of his speed and power, but id pick against him every time he faces a rugged guy

    Barrios sucks

    Romero sucks

    Garcia is a fraudulent cheat

I dont know how one would consider romero "rugged" but not barrios. neither are , but certainly barrios has shown more grit in his career. Romero just hits harder

Garcias cycles got thrown off by his suspension after the NDG haney fight vs romero

Romero fights in a much more rugged way than barrios who always tries to box,

It is possible Rolly just has Ryan's number. I forgot, its not an isolated thing. Rolly also got the better of Ryan in sparring. So yes, it appears he's just wrong Ryan.

Yep, Barrios is a FINESSE Fighter w/None of the Strength or Physicality That a Rolly or Conor Benn Fight w/…

To Be Clear, Rolly and Benn Suck, But They’re BAD Matchups for the Ry Guy Stylistically. If Ryan Doesn’t HURT/DETER a Rugged Guy Early, He LOSES.

Duarte is certainly rugged. But I agree if he's against a strong guy who can keep coming, he's likely to give in. But he can box and has good footwork. But I basically agree - he has a good style for sneaky counter-punchers and seems maybe more vulnerable to come forward durability. With Rolly, I don't know what to make of it. I think Rolly's holding gave Garcia trouble.

Rolly Was a Martial Artist Prior to Boxing; Judo if REED's Not Mistaken...

Shoulders, Forearms, Pushing, Bumping, Grappling...That's Rolly's Wheelhouse...Whereas Ryan Operates Best from a Distance, w/SPACE...Rolly Absolutely HAS Ryan's Number, as the Sparring Footage and Actual Fight Illustrated...Ryan's BETTER Than Rolly for Certain ...He Just Can't BEAT Him...

Romero sucks. His judo or whatever experience didn't help him when cruz beat the fuck outta him or he looked like complete shit vs ancient barrosos

Basically aside from the garcia fight hes beaten nobody

    No One's Disagree'ing Bruh....Rolly DOES Suck:Dont:...

STYLISTICALLY, He Poses Problems for the Ry Guy Though...Pitbull and Abuelo Barroso are Fellow "RUGGED" Fighters Who Don't Require Space/Distance to Do Their Best Work...

There's TRUTH to Boxing Cliche's..."Styles Make Fights"...If Rolly Doesn't Do SHIT Else, He's Kryptonite to the Ry Guy's Superman...

i thought same with ryan and haney. haney is way better, but terrible matchup. i had forgotten about garcia and duarte.

garcia just doesnt look like he can take a punch, i like him against nearly any outboxer (not sure about shakur). his speed and power is very high and as he fills out he seems to carry it just fine.

Ryan only has a puncher’s chance against Shakur. I can’t see him winning that one at all.

Ehhh I have no interest in it. Ryan has zero chance against Shakur.

I'd rather see Ryan vs either Haney or Benn.

i think in my mind KingRy vs. Shakur was the best case scenario

The worst case scenario is Garcia vs. the winner of Mayweather-Pacquiao II

I think it could be fun and interesting for a while.....Ryan height/reach, speed, punching power, aggression will be something different that Shakur has never face...

I wouldn't mind a rematch vs Haney.......Haney looked rejuvenated in his last fights at least for the first 6-8 rounds..

I just don't want to see either guy go back to bullshit matchups....

Shakur isn't fighting Keyshawn Davis(best matchup at the weight)...the other Davis is going to spend a few months w/ Wee-bey and Chris Partlow. Shakur could fight Hitchens(if he can ever recover from his flu/make 140) then WHO??? Puello? Matias? Issac Cruz? Antuanne Russell? Dalton?....a fight against RYAN will bring in a lot of eyeballs and $$$$ for Shakur...

Yeah, shakur vs ryan wpuld be an interesting fight. Of course stevenson is the favorite, but garcia speed and power, and shakur lack of power, makes this intriguing
