Real unexpected 1 punch ko, not beat downs that ended with a final resounding punch a la Hearns-Duran.

Cant think of a ton of examples, but im probably forgotting a lot of them. Some "recents" glaring examples are

    Tarver-Jones 2
    Lewis Rahman 1 and 2
    Pac-JMM 4.
    Martinez-Williams
Tszyu-Judah (i have issues with the stoppage though)

Other examples? And also, which one is the more iconic of all?

Not to be argumentative, but it's hard to see how you could dispute the Tszyu/Judah stoppage. Judah looked like he had cerberal palsy when he tried to get up.

    Jackson vs. Graham
    Curry vs. McCrory

I think it was a terrible stoppage considering how early it was in the fight, and i honestly dont see a case for saying otherwise unless biaised. But as you said, i have no intention of beating that deadhorse again.

Was Jackson-Graham really a high profile fight.... i kind of doubt it

I was thinking about putting Pac-Hatton there, but reconsidered cause Pac was beating him like a red headed stepchild in the first round and floored him twice. So it wasnt really an unexpected 1 punch ko

If Martinez vs. Williams is "high profile," then Jackson vs. Graham certainly is.

Vehemently disagree. Martinez was the undisputed mw champ at the time, and a p4p fighter, and williams was also a p4p fighter who held a controversial decision over Martinez

Jackson Graham was for a vacant belt, and Graham was a nobody outside of the UK, who was known mostly for losing big fights.

Now, you could argue that both of them were better than either martinez or Williams, but it wasnt as big of a fight

Guess everyone missed the last question of the initial post. Which one was the most iconic.

For me the 2 contenders are Tarver-Jones and Pac-JMM. Id put Rahman Lewis a bit below since Lewis had already been 1 punch koed before

I guess a case could be made for it, but for me that fight was too fishy and shouldnt even be a ko (it was a disgraceful showing by Walcott)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Tyson-Spinks yet.

Spinks was initially put down by a right hook to the body, but it was a single right hand to the jaw that turned his lights out.

In terms of iconic, Tyson-Spinks is one of the more iconic KOs in history.

The hell youre talking about you degenerated clown. It was obvious for anyone who ever saw that fight that i was referring to Walcott actions as a referee in the ali-liston rematch. But then, i shouldnt be surprised that you never saw one of boxing most famous fight....

Well, it would take some dignity to do so. And little Neil whore of a mother, who made a living getting ass fucked for a few pennies by french soldiers in Cambodgia, never had any. And the apple didnt fall far from the tree...
