A fight that could have happened around 2003-2005 but never came to be. Would Gatti be remotely competitive against Tszyu or does he get wiped out?
He was overrated in his era. But the Tszyu era just happened to coincide with the Roy, Trinidad, DLH, Hopkins, Floyd, Mosley era. Kostya Tszyu was leaps and bounds better than the bullshit we've had in recent years like Ryan, Haney, Tank, Rolly, Josh Taylor, Regis, Ramirez, etc. His bum of a son would have never been on TV 25 years ago -- boxing has declined by miles.
Shakur is the only one I left off because he's a legit talent. I'm not sure yet, because Tszyu was 100x better at handling southpaws than Fimo. Maybe Shakur is just so good that'd he make Tszyu look ordinary too, hard to say. Crawford would 100% beat the brakes off Tszyu at 140. But outside of Bud, there hasnt been another guy in the last 10 years that I'd make a solid favorite over Tszyu.
