So you don't want to ponder for a second that he's never beaten anyone at 147, let alone at 154? Your confidence in Thurman is hallucinatory.

Porter and Garcia. But Garcia was nothing special at 147. Porter is a good win - I'll give him that. But X is acting like he's some past his best all-timer. Meanwhile, his wins at 147 are underwhelming and he hasn't done anything at 154.

Thurman wasn't some super talent. He was decent and he also cowardly avoided spence and Crawford

You've lost the damn plot if you think I'm super high on Thurman. My history CLEARLY shows that I dont think he's great in the least bit. I'm just saying Fundora blows.

Fundora blows and gets hit flush regularly. Thurman will crack him and probably hurt him at points but Fundora is fighing a pressure style lately and has a cheat code by being so big he can cut off the ring easier with his steps while the opponents are using more energy. I think either Thurman gets stopped or he badly hurts Fundora to the point where Fundora is so hurt he goes low volume tentative. I think more likely Fundora breaks him down.

    Thurman, even in his prime:

    1. Never competed at 154
    2. Didn't accomplish more than Fundora has

Thus, I think it is unfounded to act like Thurman would easily beat Fundora if not for his old age. There's simply no basis for that assessment. Obviously, if it's your opinion, then it is what it is. But it's not rooted in facts or evidence.

LMAO! What has Fundora done? Seriously, what has he done? Expose Kostya's fraud of a son??? That doesnt count for much.

Wins over Porter (the guy YOU were always high on), D.Garcia, Robert Guerrero, Diego Chaves, Soto Karass, Quintana, far surpass Fundora's resume and it isn't close.

Still doesn't answer my question. Where's all your "evidence"? That giraffe bum hasnt done shit.

Thurman aint Ray Leonard, but he's far more accomplished than Fundora.

And I will very much maintain what I said; the Thurman of 10 years ago would beat the piss outta Fundora.

Obviously, thurman has had a longer career than Fundora. But that list of wins is pretty weak, you have to admit. Bottom line is I fail to see why you would make Thurman (in his prime) an overwhelming favorite over Fundora. And I'm not arguing Fundora doesn't have flaws or that he's some great fighter. I just fail to see what exactly places Thurman, even a prime one, a level above Fundora, like you're suggesting.

Thurman has legit skills. Even now he will be landing flush shots on Fundora guaranteed. It's about how Fundora takes them and makes it a dogfight. Body shots and pressure will be rough for Thurman but I think that Keith will certainly crack Fundora and light him up a bit early for sure.

Yeah agree, Thurman's not bad but lets face it he got beat up and and bamboozled by a shot, elderly Pac and looked like a leap-amateur in the process.

I reckon Fundora has levelled up and will probably beat the crap out of Thurman, but as X says we haven't seen him with a proper talent so who knows.

Thurman seems really uninterested and didnt even tried. Which was to be expected from a fighter who had fought twice in the last 6 years

I had forgotten about this fight. Caught some highlights and it appears to have been one sided.

    Thurman should hang em up.

Had a feeling Thurman’s age and inactivity would play a factor as well as Fundora’s height and reach to add to the issue. A very good disciplined performance from Fundora. Hes improved a lot since his loss to Mendoza. Looking forward to see where he goes next. Hopefully a shot at Ortiz or the winner of Boots/Zayas.

As for Thurman I don’t think he’s got much left honestly. He’s no longer the same fighter and perhaps best for him to hang up the gloves since he’s already so inactive.

X's head will explode when he hears this. You know, since Fundora is garbage according to him.

Fundora looked much improved recently. Remain to see if its because the guy he faced were completely shot or that he indeed improved

Honestly I like X he’s knowledgeable and usually a solid poster..but when it comes to Mexican or Mexican-American fighters he rarely gives them credit. I don’t think there’s anything racist about it just a clear bias. That said Fundora is obviously not garbage. He’s a B-level fighter who’s had success thanks in part to his freakish..almost Dhalsim-like frame and aggressive style and he’s picked up some good wins along the way. Lets say he's gotten further than most people expected.
