Xander is big. And Boots has generally benefitted from a huge size advantage (see his fight with Stanionis). So there's at least one wildcard here.

Jordan is the only athlete in history who has sooooooooo much money coming in that his gambling addiction has no bearing on his wealth. For any other guy, its going to lead to going broke.

Yeah in a sense because there's always more coming up but he's probably not stupid about it either. A real degenerate gambler can go through any amount almost like they're doing it on purpose.

Every Zayas interview I watch the dude seems like he's trying to convince himself he can win. Boots just has the mindset of this guy's not on my level and Imma show it.

I cannot for the life of me envision this being a competitive fight.

I don't see zayas as quicker than vargas, not handspeed wise, at least. Definitely a level or 2 below vargas talent wise

I think zayas believes he will come in heavier and be able to take the punishment and he'll also be on his bike constantly. He also must look at the fight like he has nothing to lose, and will move up immediately after with the built in excuse of the weight cut

Once it begins to get ugly his corner will stop the fight before he takes a career altering beating

Unless he gets hurt early and ennis follows up to end it brutally before the corner can toss the towel

Yeah this one is just about levels. Boots is just way better than Xander. If it’s competitive, that only raises Zayas stock. But no, I’m not expecting him to win this fight.

    Undercard sucks

Must not have been much left in the budget after paying zayas a severance package for accepting this execution
