Armando Resendiz and Jaime Munguia are in the process of finalizing a deal to meet May 2 in Las Vegas, sources confirmed to @ringmagazine. Resendiz was closing in on a deal to defend his title vs. Jermall Charlo, who is now unavailable. @ChavaESPN first reported Munguia.

Benavidez really believing that MEXICAN warrior shit...good for him. It's about the money hopefully the Bivol/Beter fight are still there if he get beat by Zurdo.

Anyone giving Zurdo a shot? This will be a significantly larger opponent for Benavidez. And he can fight inside. It's a very intriguing matchup.

So you give Zurdo a shot? I definitely do. I'm not even sure Benavidez will be able to hurt him. Of course, if Benavidez can win, it would make Benavidez vs. Bivol a must have fight.

benavidez couldnt hurt gvozdyk at 175 so his power is certainly questionable at cruiser.
