Bud and Hagler stand alone in boxing history as switch hitters.

Boots is a damn good fighter -- but not Hagler/Crawford good.

Not gonna lie, if Zayas can hurt Boots then Fundora can too. Zayas cant punch for shit. Its alarming that Boots got rocked.

Imagine Boots getting caught like that by another Puerto Rican... Trinidad.

    Sweet Jesus lol

Seems like a great money making opportunity. Many seem to think fundora is the best 154 Uber

I don't see that fight lasting long. Fundora may land more than zayas but he wont see round 5 let alone 7

I dont really see the big deal with round 3. Guys get hit in fights. Crawford got hit in fights and buzzed too.

I still got Boots by stoppage, but before Saturday I would have called it a mismatch.

If Zundora can catch Boots with the type of uppercuts he caught Lubin with, he's got a shot.

But my official prediction would be Boots in about 7.

Lubin dropped fundora didn't he? Lubin sucks

I dont get all the talk of fundoras improvement. Same guy who was in a battle with lubin and got slept by mendoza

Not impressed with him beating shot thurman or tszyu

Bro Zayas sucks worse than Fundora and he badly rocked Boots.

It's well established that I dont think much of Fundora. Kostya's son is a bum and Thurman was washed.

BUT... Fundora can hurt Boots if he catches him clean enough.

It's vert apparent that Boots aint exactly Ray Robinson in the chin department.

Anyone can hurt anyone it's boxing. Corley hurt Mayweather jr.

    Gamboa and Kavaliauskas hurt crawford

Zayas is pretty average but he was also a light heavyweight, and ennis was back to beating his ass the same round he was buzzed

I used to think so, but I’m now inclined to think Spence might win a decision. Neither is a defensive genius, but I reckon that if Xander Zayas can make Boots dance… Well I’d say a prime Errol can too and possibly flirt with a stoppage late rounds.

    Would have been a war.

But yeah I’m more confident now in Ortiz beating Boots via stoppage.

Agreed, Bud was really special. I mentioned it before on here, but being a high level switch hitter is legit one of the very best skills a boxer can have, it opens up so many different avenues of attack that 95% of boxers just cannot access. Bud is at the very least a top 3 switch hitter, if not THE best of all time. Boots is a brilliant talent but he just isn't on that level.

FYI: Xander Zayas has let expire his 21-day window to enforce an immediate rematch with Boots Ennis, who is now free to make some other fight and has no more obligation to a rematch. #boxing

If zayas hired Virgil hunter or some other top tier trainer he could make adjustments and do better!

You don't get all the talk about Funduras improvement? He's a 6 foot 6 junior middle weight with ko power fighting midgets. You dont think him learning to fight tall and utilizing his reach is a big deal? Tell me you dont like him but dont tell me you dont see this as a game changer for him.

Yea I dont see it. Tszyu beats him down if not for a terrible cut in the first fight. You'll never tell me any different. World class trainers have agreed that tszyus c0rner basically ruined his career there. Now he's rejuvenated tho!

Then fundora beat s0me nob0dy and inactive small thurman

You think hes improved tactically, as do others.

Great, let's see him prove it vs ortiz or ennis. I believe he's the same anorexic bean pole easily lured into a war and hurt/kod by str0nger, better opponents
