This one I'd take Inoue. The complaint against Inoue is that he didn't beat murderers row in terms of comp, but Canizales' resume was thin, which is what people also criticize him for. Inoue has amassed a stronger resume than Canizales had. I think Canizales had better technical skills than Inoue, but I think Inoue's better natural talent and bigger firepower would carry the day instead of Canizales' skill. Inoue 8-4
This would have been fireworks but also a fight that I see Inoue winning very clearly. Canizales was tough enough to last the distance and could catch Inoue with some good counters but he’ll ultimately get outgunned for most of the fight. Inoue by decision in a terrific fight.
